March 16th (1964)

· Mr. McGuire called on Mrs. Garretson of the Newton Red Cross and was told no registration of any [unreadable] is required - The only function of the Red Cross is to provide instruction and to qualify those who [unreadable]. They also have available First Aid books which are purchased by those who wish them at a cost of 75 cents each. I was unable to learn that the following others from Highland Lakes have cards
Kenneth Cleveland (Instructor) Sharown Dowd - Gertrude Mahon - George Mahon - Rick Miller - Charles Lough

· Mrs. Garretson also contacted Mr. Albert Wilbert who is an instructor - Trainer with the Red Cross and as a result Mr. Wilbert has agreed to attend our next meeting which is to take place at the Clubhouse on March 22nd - 2pm

Monday- 3/16

· Mr. McGuire spoke to Town Committee and others present RE name Vernon Twp Ambulance Corp - it was decided by Committee thru advise of its lawyer Robert Sheldon Jr that the name is acceptable and no objections were made as to its use.

Wednesday- 3/18

· Mr. McGuire announced the formation of the Ambulance Corp at Business Mens meeting and those present supported it unanimously. Mr. Al Martin, president of the B.M. and Mr. Ada Farber promised to attend our next meeting.

Sunday 10:30AM-

· Announcement was made this AM on [three words unreadable] of this meeting and that Mr. Albert Wilbert would attend and would offer his assistance in the organization of this Corp.
