Vernon Township Ambulance Squad is designed to provide round-the-clock emergency services for all residents and guests of the township free of charge.

The Squad is staffed primarily by Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and there are varying degrees of responsibility among the membership-at-large, including Ambulance Drivers, Crew Chiefs, Officers, and Trustees.
